Skin Loving Ingredients From First Aid Beauty
My favorite products from First Aid Beauty happen to be some of the classics. Listen, I love skincare products like the next girl. Will I buy a product that is packaged in a cute container? Yes. Do I think, ‘Hey, that product will look so good on my Instagram page? Yes. But, as the years have gone on I started actually reading what kind of ingredients are in all these skincare products I love with the cute packaging. Half the time the ingredients in these cute packaged items have horrible ingredients that will do more harm for your skin than provide you with the benefit it promises. First Aid Beauty has clean and simple packaging which matches what is on the inside.
First Aid Beauty Ingredients
With the FAB beauty products I mentioned below they are alcohol-free and fragrance-free( also, it’s free for many other harmful products typically found in skincare). I hate how products that are supposed to hydrate your face contain alcohol. Alcohol dries out our skin. FAB is a great line for those with sensitive skin. Here’s a list of ingredients FAB doesn’t use: Artificial Colorants and Artificial Fragrances, Parabens, Ethanol, Ethyl Alcohol, Denatured Alcohol, Methanol, N-Butyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol, Lanolin, Propylene Glycol, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Formaldehydes, Oxybenzone, Coal Tar, Hydroquinone, Triclosan, Triclocarban, Talc and Sulfates. Do you know how many skincare brands that claim to use “great” ingredients use the ingredients mentioned above that FAB bans?
FAB Face Cleanser
So, if you have super sensitive skin and need a gentle good quality face cleanser this one works great. My skin leans towards the drier side, especially when I am using tretinoin. It has a nice creamy/silky texture. Also, it has excellent ingredients which include; aloe, allantoin, glycerin, and FAB’s Antioxidant Booster. I think this would be an excellent cleanser for people who had any work done like surgical peels or any facial procedure done. I typically use this after I take my makeup off with micellar water. It is a simple cleanser, but it does it all. It cleans my face but doesn’t dry it out as some face washes can.
FAB Radiance Pads
I love pre-soaked pads. They are my favorite quick item to use. These pads have both lactic and glycolic acids that help exfoliate, tone, and brighten skin. I feel like these are similar to a toner, but after I use these my face feels a bit more moisturized. These pads are supposed to help with dullness, pores, and uneven skin tone/uneven texture. Now, for me, I wanted to use them to keep acne/ blackheads away. I used the pads for a month and loved them. I didn’t get any blackheads in the month I used them.
And, what I love most is that they are gentle for the skin. Last month I stopped using my other product that had lactic acid, so I could focus a month on using super gentle skincare products. I think skincare junkies like me all tend to use too many products on our faces that can interact and cause problems. I want to try so many products on the market, but I only have one face.
FAB Ultra Repair Cream
FAB’s Ultra Repair Cream I enjoy using in the morning, and at night. It is not a thick moisturizer, but they have other kinds that are heavier you can buy. The ingredients include colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, and FAB Antioxidant Booster. You can use it anyone on your body, but I stick to only using it on my face.
