Skin tints and light foundations are a favorite of mine, so when I saw Milani Glow Hydrating Skin Tint full of good ingredients for the skin, I knew I wanted to pick it up straight away. I have a drier skin type from using retinal, AHAs/BHAs, and vitamin c.

Milani Glow Hydrating Skin Tint Ingredients
Milani Glow Hydrating Skin Tint is 100% vegan! The two main stars in this skin tint are Squalane which helps lock in moisture. And, it has a skin-quenching electrolyte + coconut water blend. Now, I love using anything with Squalane or coconut. Basically, for my dry skin the more moisturizing ingredients, the better.

My Experience with Milani Glow Hydrating Skin Tint
So, when I test foundations/tints, I test them out in 3 different ways- by itself on clean skin, with my Elta MD Clear SPF 46, and with my Smashbox Primerizer.
For my skincare, I usually do the following before SPF and makeup. I apply a fast-absorbing Vitamin C( l-ascorbic acid). If I am not in a rush I apply a lightweight moisturizer and let it sink in for 1 hour. But, if I am in a rush i just apply my SPF and let it sink in for 20 minutes.
My face type: Dry
Application– It sinks into the skin nicely like any skincare item. I found it works best with a beauty sponge as oppose to patting it on my face.
Finish: Overall, on my face, it only had a slight glow
Coverage: Sheer to Light
Does it transfer?– Yes!
Did it break you out?– No. I had no adverse effects from using it. I rarely ever break out from using a product.
Packaging– It’s in a squeeze tube with no pump. I love these kinds of tubes for tints!
Shade: I got shade 110 ( Fair to light)
How does it feel on the face? It feels emollient and a little hydrating. Doesn’t feel heavy on my face. But, at the same time it is not hydrating enough for my face needs.
Clings to Dry Spots?– Yes
Long-Lasting?- No. Plus, it transfers all over. It goes on my phone to anything else i put my face on.
Other Uses?– None
Different Application Methods- Bare Face, Elta MD UV Clear SPF, and with my Smashbox Primerizer
Smashbox Primerizer– This method like normal worked the best as the primer provided more hydration to the skin and didn’t cling as badly to dry spots like normal.
Bare Face: When I applied it on bare skin, it clung to my dry patches a lot. So, I don’t think I would ever use it by itself on my skin as it can be a little cakey at times.
SPF: When I applied it on top of my go-to Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46, it clung to my dry patches more.
Would I recommend Milani Glow Hydrating Skint Tint?
If your face is on the super dry side no. Especially if you are using tretinoin or accutane. But, if you face is on the normal side then yes. My face is just very picky when it comes to skin tints and foundations. In addition, things must work with my daytime SPF.
