Wilde Thin and Crispy Chicken Chips

Would you eat chips made from chicken?

If you told me that my favorite healthy chip would be made from chicken, I would not believe you. Then again, people have loved those pork rind chips for years. I never cared for pork rind chips. Since I found Wilde Thin and Crispy Chicken Chips at Whole Foods, I have been hooked on them. They come in the following flavors: BBQ, Jalapeno, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Chicken & Waffles, Buffalo, and Himalayan Sea Salt.

Nutritional Information in Wilde Brand Thin and Crispy Chicken Chips

A typical bag of Chicken Chips has 170 calories for a serving( there are 2 servings in a bag). And for 1 serving of chips, it has 10g of fat, 135mg of sodium, 10g of carbs. 1g of sugar, and 7g of protein. So, based on the nutritional info, the chips are great.

Ingredients in Wilde Brand Thin and Crispy Chicken Chips

On their website, the company writes that they use “100% natural chicken breast, cassava root(which makes tapioca flour), and Coconut Nectar”. They use natural ingredients and seasoning in their chips. And,tkechiale you never need to look up what an ingredient is in their product, which I like.

Ingredients in their Himalayan Pink Sea Salt flavor: Natural Chicken, Tapioca Flour, Coconut Oil, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Himalayan Pink Salt

Ingredients in their Chicken and Waffle Flavor: Natural Chicken, Tapioca Flour, Coconut Oil, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Pure Maple Sugar, Tapioca Starch, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor, Cinnamon

Taste

If you need a chip and are eating healthy Wild Thin and Crispy Chicken Chips are the perfect snack! They are as their name implies “thin” and “crispy.” The waffle flavor is nice and sweet, and the Himalayan pink sea salt has the perfect amount of saltiness. The texture of these chips is comparable to a normal chip. It is easy to forget the portion you want and eat the whole bag in one go. I don’t really taste a strong chicken flavor, and if I didn’t know it was made from chicken breast, I could not have guessed. Whether you are eating healthy or doing a Paleo or Keto diet, these are the perfect addition to your healthy eating plan.
